Shipping information

1. Shipping Providers

Shipping is carried out—depending on size, weight, and destination—via DHL, Hermes, or a suitable freight carrier.
All products, including original artworks, commissioned pieces, prints, and art-based merchandise, are packaged carefully and professionally to ensure safe transport.

2. Shipping Within Germany

a) Original Artworks & Commissioned Artworks (Freelance Activity)

Shipping is carried out exclusively as insured shipping via DHL, Hermes, or a freight carrier.

Shipping costs are agreed individually, depending on size, weight, packaging requirements, and destination.

Before dispatch, the buyer receives a binding confirmation of the shipping method and shipping costs.

A personal collection in Beckum is possible upon request.

b) Art Prints & Products (Commercial Activity)

For orders placed in the online shop, the shipping costs shown during checkout apply and are calculated automatically.

Shipping methods:

  • Prints: shipped rolled in sturdy mailing tubes (50–100 cm length)

  • Products: shipped in suitable cardboard boxes

  • Multiple items are shipped in one parcel whenever possible.

3. Shipping Within the European Union (EU)

Shipping within the EU is carried out via DHL or Hermes.

For prints and products, the automatically calculated shipping costs shown during checkout apply.

Shipping costs for original artworks and commissioned works are agreed individually.

4. International Shipping (Outside the EU)

International shipping is available only to the following countries:
USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom (UK), United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Kuwait.

Shipping to any other country is not available.

Shipping Methods & Costs

Shipping is handled via DHL International, Hermes International, or a suitable freight carrier.

Shipping costs vary depending on destination, parcel size, and weight and are:

  • shown during checkout (for shop orders), or

  • agreed individually (for large artworks or special formats).

Customs Duties, Taxes & Import Fees (Important Notice!)

For international shipments, import charges may apply, including:

  • customs duties

  • import VAT

  • handling fees

  • other government-imposed taxes or charges

These costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
I do not charge, cover, or refund any customs or import fees.

Please check the import regulations of your country before placing an order.

5. Packaging & Transport Damage

Packaging

All artworks and products are securely packaged:

  • Prints: sturdy shipping tubes with protective foil and end caps

  • Products: cardboard boxes with cushioning material

  • Original artworks: special packaging with edge protection, bubble wrap, strong boxes or wooden crates

Transfer of Risk & Disclaimer

Once the goods are handed over to the shipping provider, all risk of loss, damage, or delivery delays transfers fully to the buyer.

I assume no liability for transport damage or delayed delivery after handover to the shipping provider.

Procedure in Case of Transport Damage

Please inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt.
In case of visible damage:

  • report the damage to the delivery service immediately,

  • take photos of the packaging and the damage,

  • inform us in writing and attach the photos.

6. Delivery Times (Non-Binding Estimates)

The delivery times listed below are non-binding estimates.
They are not guaranteed, as delays may occur due to logistics, customs, transport issues, or external circumstances.

Germany

  • Prints & Products: approx. 7–30 business days

  • Original artworks & commissioned works: individually agreed

European Union (EU)

  • approx. 10–30 business days

International (Outside the EU)

  • approx. 14–40 business days
    (especially depending on customs clearance and the chosen shipping method)

Individually produced prints may have varying delivery times.

7. Important Notes

  • Shipping costs shown in the online shop apply only to prints, products and accessories.

  • Shipping costs for original artworks and commissioned works are always agreed separately.

  • International shipping conditions and any additional costs (customs duties, import VAT, handling fees) vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • By placing an order, the buyer explicitly accepts these shipping conditions.
